RUSMP Associate Director for Curriculum Integration Robin Ward presented at the Texas Association for the Education of Young Children (TAEYC) 2009 Conference in Galveston, Texas. Her presentation entitled, Using the Lens of the Visual Arts and Children’s Literature to Explore PreK-2 Mathematics, articulated rich and innovative ways to connect mathematics to the visual arts. She will also give this presentation as a Professional Development Focus of the Year Learn↔Reflect Strand session at the 2010 NCTM Annual Meeting in San Diego in April, 2010.
