RUSMP is offering the following non-credit courses for the Spring of 2008:
- Developing the Measurement Strand: A Course for K-5 Teachers
- 3-D Visualization: A Course for K-8 Teachers
RUSMP offered the following courses that began in the Fall of 2007:
- Calculus for High School Teachers
- Algebra for Elementary Teachers
- Data Analysis, Probability and Statistics for Middle and High School Teachers
- Topics in Algebra for Algebra 1 Teachers
These content-specific courses are offered to develop the mathematical knowledge of classroom teachers. See a listing of prior years' course offerings.
Academic-Year Graduate Courses
RUSMP has offered graduate courses during the academic year. These rigorous courses help develop pedagogy that will allow teachers to provide students with a foundation for future studies in mathematics and to challenge and motivate students. The courses are open to teachers in the Houston area.
RUSMP Workshops and Short Courses
RUSMP customizes mathematics professional development for schools and districts at all levels based on identified needs. Examples include workshops in mathematics content, appropriate technology use in mathematics classrooms and the development of leadership skills for mathematics professionals.
